The Residents' first feature film Triple Trouble had its world premiere at the Chicago Underground Film Festival. Written and directed by Homer Flynn and The Residents, produced by Starr Sutherland. The film tells the story of Junior (Dustin York), a former priest and current plumber. When he discovers mysterious mushrooms in the pipes of San Francisco, his investigation also leads him to reevaluate past relationships, including coming to terms with memories of his father, The Residents singer Randy Rose.
