Concert of the rock band "The Andyground Band" with the South Bohemian Philharmonic in honour of Andy Warhol (6 August 1928-22 February 1987). The rock band "The Andyground Band" and the South Bohemian Philharmonic will play together sixteen songs from the albums THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO (1967) and SONGS FOR DRELLA (1990) as part of a musical and artistic project called UNIVERSAL UNDERGROUND.

The concert will include an exhibition of Warhol's works from the private collection of curator Miroslav Houška.

For the symphony orchestra and the band The Andyground Band, composer Michal Nejtek has written a total of 16 compositions from the aforementioned album THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO, and orchestral arrangements of selected pieces from the latest collaborative album by Lou Reed & John Cale will also be performed: SONGS FOR DRELLA (1990), in which both musicians paid a personal tribute and tribute to the memory of Andy Warhol.
